James fervently believes in the subconscious power of images to profoundly affect our lives, and remains fascinated in his pursuit of the frozen moment. He loves to look at images, work with images, and to make images. In his work for a broad range of editorial and corporate clients he strives for excellence and is known as a resourceful location specialist. His work has been included in many exhibitions both at home and abroad, and is included in several private collections.

After 17 years in New York City, in 1997 James moved to the town of Brunswick, Maine. He is available for assignments and commissions around New England as well as around the world.
